Welcome to Maikeru.cc

Here you will find a range of FREE quality educational resources based on the topics of English, History (Russia, Germany and Australia), Commerce / Business and Asian Studies. A section dealing with all things Japan also exists, with content including language and culture resources! The site will continuously be updated with new content, so feel free to check back often! If you wish to leave a comment about the site, ask me a question, or even suggest improvements for any of the resources available, please feel free to contact me via the details located on the About Me page. Any comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Maikeru.cc has truly helped me realise the great potential the web offers individuals around the world; no more is knowledge and ideas locked away in dusty, old books sitting in a library somewhere. The web offers a platform upon which anyone can create, consume and discuss, and I am happy that by creating Maikeru.cc, I have contributed to this open platform, even if it is only in the slightest way.

Michael. Student at the University of Western Australia 2010. Exchange student to Japan in 2011? Here I will blog about the ups and downs of the application process, providing some helpful tips along the way, and if I am successful, I will blog about my daily life as a student abroad. Will I enjoy it? Will I ever learn how to eat with chopsticks? Only time will tell. Feel free to join me on this journey.

While MaikeruInJapan.cc has been my main focus for the past few months, I am still working towards adding new content to Maikeru.cc. Updates coming soon include new educational resources relating to English, Commerce and possibly Asian Studies, new content to be included in 'All Things Japan' and some tweaks to the site in terms of general content and appearance.
